We are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join the development team working on the Optimizely project.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and maintaining the Reporting services built on our already robust CDP and other products
  • Building the user interface for integrating personalization features of our products
  • Designing architectures that are performant and cost-effective. Fast is a feature
  • Recognizing opportunities to transform data into knowledge. Think like a Data Scientist. Work like an engineer
  • Ensuring compliance with data protection regulations. We lead the industry in regulation-compliant first-party data empowerment
  • Collaborating with engineers and product managers to deliver on the Reporting roadmap

Required skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering with demonstrated expertise in Architecture
  • Fluency in several languages, including Kotlin and Java
  • Front-end development experience with Typescript and frameworks like React
  • Experience with Cloud Computing platforms like GCP, AWS, or Azure
  • Experience with containerized applications (Docker/Kubernetes.)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

As a plus

  • Practical experience with reliability at scale in distributed systems
  • SaaS experience
  • Experience in implementing and architecting complex data management and BI capabilities
  • Familiarity with BI tools like Looker, Tableau, Power BI, etc.
  • Experience in SQL and Python
  • Knowledge of build/release systems and processes
