Personal Profile Overview

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
  • Stability in previous employment history with a tendency to remain with employers for extended periods
  • Experience in managing diverse project activities (not just coding, but also requirements analysis, preparing estimations)
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written, ability to convey ideas, information, and messages accurately and efficiently
  • Proficiency in fostering effective collaboration and teamwork activities
  • Ability to analyze information, assess situations, and make decisions based on sound reasoning and logical evaluation
  • Focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences and prioritizing customer satisfaction
  • Analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and strategic approach to technical challenges
  • Transparency in sharing the information within a team and company
  • Willingness to acquire new knowledge and insights to enhance professional growth and performance

Required Skills

  • 4+ years of experience working as a Software Testing Engineer
  • Excellent understanding of QA processes, testing methodologies, and best practices
  • Strong experience in requirements analysis and test case development
  • Deep understanding of SDLC, agile processes, and testing approaches
  • Hands-on experience in REST API testing
  • Expertise in testing mobile applications and web platforms
  • Experience with automation testing
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, including the ability to work independently and proactively
  • Ability to build QA processes and take full ownership of quality assurance activities
  • At least Upper Intermediate level of English

As a plus

  • Experience in testing communication protocols like OCPP or OCPI

Responsibilities

  • Communicate and collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure high-quality deliverables
  • Analyze product requirements, specifications, and technical documentation to identify test scenarios, edge cases, and quality risks
  • Design, write, and maintain detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases and test plans
  • Perform manual testing of web and/or mobile applications, including functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing
  • Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs using appropriate tools (e.g., Jira, Xray)
  • Ensure test coverage and traceability of test cases to business requirements
  • Contribute to continuous process improvement by sharing QA insights and identifying gaps in product quality
  • Assist in setting up and maintaining test environments and test data
  • Monitor application performance and report performance issues
  • Act as a quality advocate within the team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement
  • Participate in sprint planning, grooming, and QA-related ceremonies to ensure quality is integrated throughout the development cycle
  • Support pre-release validation, smoke testing, and post-release monitoring as needed
  • Create and maintain automated test suites
  • Support of stakeholders with live testing
